We are saddened this week as we learned of the passing of one of our Stokes Market family members, Nancy Christiansen.
Nancy worked for many years in our General Merchandise Department. She was the sweetest, kindest, wittiest lady. She truly made every day better by being here. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband, Steven and to her children, Luke, Kyle, Shane, Amy and their spouses and her grandchildren.
Nancy was a remarkable person.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Meet Shauna Barrios! 🌟
We’re excited to welcome Shauna Barrios to the team at Larry’s Pharmacy inside Stokes!
Shauna is a Pharmacy Technician who brings both brains and heart to the pharmacy counter. Originally from Rupert, Idaho, she’s currently attending Idaho State University studying Computer Engineering,so if you hear a little geek speak mixed in with great customer service, that’s just part of the package! She’s also fluent in Spanish, which helps her connect with even more of our community.
When she’s not helping customers or studying, Shauna is usually outdoors fishing, spending time with family, or chasing her two very active boys from one adventure to the next. She also has a creative side and loves sketching and drawing whenever she gets the chance.
Shauna’s friendly personality and positive energy make her a wonderful addition to the team, and we’re lucky to have her here serving our community.
If you see her at Larry’s Pharmacy, be sure to say hello and welcome her to the Stokes family! 💙

His son Eldon furthered his dream in the 1960's when he bought a small store in Burley, Idaho and the first Stokes Market was born. Eldon's son John joined his father in 1973 when he moved to Burley to extend the family dream. Together John and Eldon opened new locations throughout Idaho. Today that dream is being realized by several amazing store operators & a few members of the Stokes family in Idaho, Montana and Utah.
Stokes Market strives to maintain the generational goals & values in order to provide an exceptional shopping experience for their guests. In a world where the competitors are the largest corporations on earth, Stokes remains a small company that is family owned and operated where customer service comes first.
We offer a clean, bright, modern store, with the freshest meats, deli, produce, and bakery. In many ways we are very old fashion. We scratch bake with fresh donuts and breads every day. Our meats are always cut in store and are local, fresh, certified all natural and you will never see it with an ingredients list. We pride ourselves in the freshest produce year around. And if it is in season, then it is local as well!
We very much appreciate our management team & employees. They bring genuine care and concern to our customers each and every day. Without them, it could not be done in such a manner.
