We had the privilege of hosting Chad from SE MN Emergency Medical Services for advanced training in airway, breathing, and cardiology at the Preston Emergency Services building. The training emphasized the importance of effective ventilation and provided a unique opportunity to observe differences in practice through hands-on lab exercises. February was a busy and productive month for our team! 🚑💙

We responded to 24 calls for service, providing rapid, compassionate care to those in need throughout our communities. Every call is a reminder of why we’re here — ready 24/7 to serve.

In addition to emergency responses, we also conducted CPR training, helping equip community members with lifesaving skills. The more people who know CPR, the stronger and safer our community becomes! Our team also gathered for our monthly in service training.

Yesterday our crew got together for our annual BLS CPR/AED training. We spent time utilizing the simulation monitor from SE MN Emergency Medical Services and did hands on training with the Lucas device.

36 Lanesboro High School sophomores successfully completed the AHA Heartsaver Course, acquiring essential skills in Adult, Infant, Child CPR, AED usage, and First Aid. This training equips them with critical abilities to respond in emergency situations.
