Dr. Eric Soffer is a highly trained foot and ankle specialist with extensive experience in the newest treatments for podiatric conditions. After graduating top of his class at Midwestern University School of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Soffer began his surgical residency at the Department of Veteran Affairs Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Working with veterans from all backgrounds he honed his expertise treating diabetic foot conditions, limb salvage, wound care, and nail conditions. Spending three years at Olive View UCLA Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills in Los Angeles, California provided experience in advanced surgical care of the foot and ankle. There he mastered minimally invasive surgical techniques, corrective and reconstructive surgery, trauma, pediatric foot conditions, skin disorders of the foot, infection, and much more. As a consulting podiatrist and surgeon serving both Calvert Memorial Hospital and University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center (formerly known as Civista), Dr. Soffer cares for his patients in the hospital as well as at his local offices located in Prince Frederick and La Plata, Maryland.
