What is a dermaplane?

A dermaplane is a skincare treatment that involves a small, sterile (one time use!) blade. With the blade we get exfoliation by gently scraping off dead skin cells (+ an added bonus is the removal of peach fuzz).

The result?

•Smoother Skin

•Better product absorption
•Makeup sits so much better!

Most common questions:

•Does it hurt?: Nope, most of my clients tell me how surprised they are that it feels so gentle/relaxing.

•Will my hair grow back thicker?: No! This is a myth. Dermaplaning does not affect the follicle therefore does not affect your hair growth. It will grow just as it did before- you may just notice it more when it grows back after it’s been removed.

•Can anyone get a dermaplane?: Not everyone, but it is safe for most skin types.

Yes, you can get a facial and a brow or lip wax on the same day! I’ll just take extra care to not exfoliate that area of the face again. However, if you’re wanting a majority of your face waxed- I would space the appointments out at least a week. 🧡

I love customized facials because things in the skin can change so much month to month due to so many things. 4 years ago today I completed the esthetics program at TSPA and clocked out for the very last time!

In the last 4 years there’s been lots of learning, growth, and the passion remains the same.🧡 Every client I’ve worked with has reaffirmed why I love what I do.

Skincare isn’t just about products and treatments(although I work hard to give my clients great results ❤️) it’s also about self-care, self love, and making people feel relaxed, beautiful, and confident in their own skin! It’s sometimes about being a safe place to vent or being the only hour of peace and quiet you get that month. Being able to educate, treat, and pamper my clients is seriously the best thing in the whole world.

Thank you to everyone whose played a part in my journey and to my amazing clients who have trusted me with their skin over the years. I truly couldn’t imagine a different career path for myself. Your support, loyalty, and glowing faces mean the world to me. 🧡 Cheers to even more growth 🎉
