Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Kuchar, who completed the 127th Boston Marathon yesterday! She finished with a time of 3 hours, 27 minutes, her second best personal time for a marathon (that's 26.2 miles if you're counting!) This was the third Boston Marathon that she has run. Coincidentally, her last run in Boston was 10 years ago, in which she finished prior to the horrific terrorist incident . This year, there were nearly 30,000 runners who qualified from over 100 countries. Sarah's time this year was actually faster than she ran 10 years ago! We're all proud of your accomplishments, Dr. Kuchar!

Our latest PEG Cares Day was held on Saturday, July 16th. Needy patients were referred from the Zufall Health Center at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, and were seen for free examinations and treatment. The Optical Shoppe provided highly discounted frames and glasses for the event. Since 2018, the Princeton Eye Group has provided pro bono eye care for over 100 patients. Originally the brainchild of Katerina Liu, the program has continued with the hospital clinic, with PEG employees and doctors volunteering their time and expertise to serve our community. For this PEG Cares Day, shown below, we thank Jody, Erica, Dr. Liu, and Michael for their efforts!

The road isn’t easy or straightforward, but Lindsay’s tribe knows that #👁gotthis is a fact!
