Improving maternal health outcomes requires more than clinical solutions. It requires listening to and partnering with the communities most impacted. This Maternity Action Plan session will explore how shifting power toward community leadership can help transform maternal health systems and improve outcomes for mothers and families.

Through presentations and a panel discussion featuring members of Perinatal Community Advisory Boards (PCABs), this session will highlight how community partnerships with hospitals and health systems can elevate lived experience, strengthen accountability and drive more equitable maternal health policies and practices. Attendees will learn how PCABs operate, why they matter for maternal health equity, and how collaborative models between communities and institutions can create lasting change across New Jersey’s maternal health landscape.

📣 The Leapfrog Group has launched its redesigned ASC Public Reporting Program, which will begin publicly reporting safety and quality data for Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) nationwide starting in July 2026. The program will include CMS quality measures and aims to expand transparency around ASC performance.

ASCs will also have an opportunity to voluntarily submit additional quality and safety data through the updated ASC Survey 2.0, helping to provide a more comprehensive picture of care.

As the Regional Leader for The Leapfrog Group in New Jersey & New York, the encourages ASCs to learn more about the program and consider participating. The ASC Survey 2.0 is now open, with a submission deadline of June 30.
