Established to strengthen critical access hospitals through collaboration

ICAHN offers critical access and small and rural hospitals educational and quality programs (Stroke Initiative, certification review courses, corporate compliance, CAH workshops, Lean and Six Sigma training); operational support (professional roundtables, comprehensive listserv base, and meaningful use readiness assistance); local and national grant awards and professional grant research and writing assistance; group purchasing (Amerinet/OSF group purchasing contracts, hospital insurance program, and managed care consulting); ICAHN Rural Recruitment services (physician, midlevel, and health professional recruitment plus licensure and onboarding assistance); technical assistance; professional shared services (Community Health Needs Assessments, Implementation Strategies, Information Technology, HCAHPS, iVantage Hospital Strength Index); partnerships/networking (SIU Telehealth, NIU Center for Governmental Studies, partnership with iNet; and CAH leadership development (senior leadership management training, creation of governing board manuals, and governing board summits).

⭐ We need your help!

The Illinois Patient Access to Pharmacy Protection Act (HB 2371 SA 2) has been moved to the Illinois House floor and could be called for a vote at any time. In response, Big Pharma has escalated their opposition campaign, investing millions of dollars to mischaracterize the 340B program and undermine and discredit the hospitals that rely on it.

At this pivotal time, it's important to raise your voice in support of 340B! Find the House representative who represents you at https://bit.ly/4riIJlp and contact him or her today!

We need to make sure that lawmakers hear the hospital community’s voice above Big Pharma’s. You can do that with a call or an email. Please ask your Representative to co-sponsor the legislation and share their support directly with House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch and urge him to call the bill for a vote.
