Integra business resource group, Black Employees United at Integra for Leadership and Development (B.U.I.L.D), proudly hosted its 13th annual — commemorating 100 years of honoring Black history, legacy, and impact. This year’s theme, “Building Legacy and Roots in Mentoring,” highlighted the power of guidance, connection, and community.

We were honored to hear from Jamal T. Johnson. He shared thoughtful insights on the transformative role of mentorship and the importance of cultivating ‘good soil’ — reminding us that what we nurture determines what grows.

As he noted, “Organizations that prioritize mentoring don’t just create employees, they create leadership ecosystems that multiply innovation, stability, and long-term impact.” We were reminded that mentorship develops potential, strengthens foundations, and shapes the leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event both inspiring and memorable. We look forward to continuing to celebrate throughout the month!
