Where focus goes energy flows… the more you try to come up with things to be grateful for, the more things you realize you can be grateful! And it’s such a beautiful thing.

A while ago I had a practice where I would journal every morning 3 things I was grateful that happens the previous day and when I got started it was hard to do. I’d write, “water to drink” just about everyday just so I could fill the lines. But over time, my being thankful for water expanded into the many ways water gives to me. Watering the plants that I eat, having a means to wash my dishes or flush away 💩, making precipitation to nourish the earth, quenching my thirst after a workout. The tool that worked was the daily practice of thinking about things to be grateful for. I was focusing on it and “where focus goes energy flows.” I soon was thinking of all the ways that I am abundantly blessed. Cuz we are!! It was a tool, a practice that I encourage anyone and everyone to try. Try for 3 days and see what changes. And dont you think we could benefit from the added love (and stress reduction)

Let’s start this week of thanks by thinking about gratitude.
For me, when I’m feeling grateful I can’t feel any else. Not fearful, not hateful, not annoyed. When I take sometime to think about things I am grateful for, everything else melts away and I’m left with a warm hug for my heart.

Try it - What’s something you can be grateful for right now?

My go-to is thinking about the living support system that surrounds me. All the people that make my life possible. I love you, thank you 🙏

I hope you are taking the time for yourself to slow down and unwind. It’s not about how much you can do, it’s about how you feel when we’re not doing it. Have this weekend, let it be peaceful, let it be warm and restorative. Observe and hug your family, recite a blessing over your time but most importantly rest.

As a parent herself, Zoe knows all about how hard it is to find time to exercise! That’s why she is now offering FitFam Fitness! A group exercise class for parents and their child(ren) ages 3-7.

Parents will get a great full body workout with a mix of strength and cardio that is also safe and fun for kids to do too! Class is Saturday Dec 20th at 9am
