Do treadmills need to be tuned up? Tuneups on treadmills is a good idea to have done at least once a year depending on usage. If you are an average user of 3 days a week I woukd suggest having someone (Barry Services) come out and lubed the deck and walking belt if manufacturer requires. Check all connections to make sure nothing is charring due to high friction. And perform am amp draw to see if the unit is running at optimal performance.
