A “glimmer walk” is a simple way to boost your mood by stepping outside for a short, no-pressure walk and intentionally noticing small, positive moments—like sunlight, a breeze, flowers, or a friendly dog. These tiny “glimmers” help signal safety to your nervous system, which can lower stress and create a sense of calm. You don’t need much time or effort—just 5–10 minutes, your attention, and a willingness to collect a few good moments along the way.
