Valentine's Day 2026 — this is the place I want to be: in my pilates studio, giving myself the best Valentine’s present I know how — movement, breath, and silly post-pose giggles. 💖🧘‍♀️✨ Self-love looks a lot like a sweaty reformer session, cozy mats, and intentional time just for me. Motivation Monday ✨

So often in our workouts, we think working harder means tightening everything—jaw clenched, shoulders gripping, breath held.
But what if the very tension we’re using to “try harder” is the thing holding us back?

In movement, real strength comes from support + ease, not force.
And honestly… life isn’t much different.

When we grip too tightly—our bodies, our goals, our stories—we limit flow, adaptability, and growth.
Sometimes progress doesn’t ask for more effort.
It asks for more awareness, more breath, more trust.

Softening isn’t giving up.

⚓️☀️Anchored in the Sun Salutations☀️⚓️

The foundation of our yoga practice is anchored in the Sun Salutations and their fundamental poses. Think of how many downward facing dogs or chaturangas you’ve done over the years. What if you could refine, deepen, ground, and align to find your body’s best functional alignment and learn to move from the core outward?! Your core is your anchor, and understanding how to use it to move your spine will strengthen your connection to your upper and lower body strength. You’ll be moving in concert, each piece of your body in harmony with the other. You’ll feel strong, yet light— open, but connected— grounded, yet expanded. Sound too good to be true? It isn’t. It’s just the power of learning to ANCHOR.

You’ll learn:

⚓️the fundamental of spinal movement from the core

⚓️how to apply core centered movement to poses from the Sun Salutations like plank, upward facing dog, downward facing dog, chaturanga, crescent lunge, and more

⚓️ how to adapt each pose to achieve your best functional alignment

She’s back — and we couldn’t be more excited! 🎉 Many of you may not know, Christy Ottoson was part of the Re:Gen family in the beginning — one of our OGs. She stepped away to be a full-time momma to her littles, and now she’s returned stronger than ever. Welcome home, Christy! 💪✨

From growing up in Prosper, TX, showing horses to a Barre and Pilates instructor — fitness has always been Christy’s foundation. 🐎➡️✨ She learned body awareness, control, and strength riding for Oklahoma State University’s equestrian team, and that translated perfectly into barre and Pilates. She has been teaching barre for 4 years and Pilates for 3, and still loves watching people get stronger, leaner, and more confident.

Now a mom to a 7-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl, staying fit means she can keep up, play harder, and be present for every moment. 🧡 Her classes are all about burning, shaking, sculpting—and leaving you energized to take on the day.
