🔥 Why Your Wrists Hurt During Exercise Isn’t Just About Your Wrists 🔥

If you tend to “dump” into your wrists during any exercise like planks, push-ups, or quadruped movements, it’s not only uncomfortable—it disrupts the essential connection between your shoulders and core.

Here’s what happens:
👉 Wrist dumping shifts weight forward, collapsing your alignment.
👉 That collapse travels upward, causing shoulder instability during key exercises.
👉 Without stable shoulders, your core can’t fully engage, making your movements feel weak, shaky, or disconnected.

✨ The solution isn’t just about “protecting your wrists.” It’s about restoring the shoulder–core connection fundamental to any fitness practice you desire.

Try this:
✅ Spread your fingers wide and press evenly through your entire hand (not just the heel).
✅ Focus on lifting energy up and away from the floor, rather than sinking into your wrists.
✅ Visualize energy traveling in a long line: hand → shoulder → core.

When your wrists stop bearing all the load, your shoulders stabilize, and your core can finally work optimally. 🌟

Downtown Prosper will be buzzing the evening of next Wednesday, September 24th, as the big homecoming parade takes over the streets of downtown Prosper! 🚒🎺✨

We’re closed for all evening classes due to us being along the parade route, but don’t fret, we're open for all morning classes! 🌅🧘‍♀️

Come cheer on our amazing Prosper High School community and go Eagles! 🥳 🦅
