One of the most common things we hear from postpartum moms is: “I thought this was just normal after having a baby.” Leaking, heaviness, or pelvic pressure are incredibly common, but they’re not something you just have to live with forever.

The pelvic floor works together with your diaphragm, core, posture, and nervous system to manage pressure in the body.

After pregnancy and birth, those systems can lose coordination. That’s why recovery often starts with breathing, posture, and gentle movement before jumping back into intense workouts.

When those foundations improve, strength and stability can rebuild in a much more supportive way. If you’re in the postpartum season, give your body grace, healing takes time.

Reflux can be incredibly stressful for families, especially when you’re already running on little sleep. Most conversations about reflux focus on digestion alone.

But sometimes there are other pieces of the puzzle that influence how babies tolerate feeds.

Tension patterns through the neck, diaphragm, and upper body can affect pressure through the digestive system, which may contribute to symptoms like arching, fussiness, or frequent spit up.

When babies feel more relaxed and balanced in their bodies, many parents notice feeding becoming more comfortable and digestion settling down.

Every baby is different, but support and answers are possible. Share this with a parent navigating reflux right now.

If you’re a tired parent reading this, we see you. Baby sleep can feel like one of the hardest parts of early parenthood.

While routines and schedules can help, something that often gets overlooked is the baby’s nervous system. Babies who are stuck in an “alert” state can have a harder time settling into deeper rest. That can show up as short naps, frequent waking, or only sleeping when held.

When babies feel more regulated and comfortable in their bodies, parents often notice easier settling and longer stretches of sleep. If sleep has been tough lately, know that you’re not alone in this season.

Breastfeeding can be beautiful, but when it’s painful or frustrating, it can also feel incredibly discouraging.

Many moms assume feeding struggles mean they’re doing something wrong. But sometimes babies are simply working against tension patterns in their bodies that make feeding harder.

Birth tension in the neck, jaw, or shoulders can affect how a baby latches, sucks, and coordinates feeding. That can show up as things like clicking, reflux, shallow latch, or long feeding sessions.

When babies feel more relaxed and regulated, feeding often becomes easier for both mom and baby.

If you’re navigating feeding struggles right now, you’re not alone, and you’re not doing anything wrong.

If feeding has felt frustrating, painful, or just harder than you expected…

you are not the problem.

Sometimes babies are working against tension in their neck, jaw, or body that makes feeding more difficult than it should be.

And no one really tells moms that part.

When babies feel more relaxed and regulated, feeding can look completely different.

The emotional side of postpartum doesn’t get talked about enough. New moms are recovering from pregnancy and birth while also learning how to care for a brand new human, often on very little sleep.

Add in hormone shifts, feeding challenges, and the constant mental checklist of motherhood, and it’s no wonder so many moms feel overwhelmed.

Feeling overstimulated or emotionally drained doesn’t mean you’re doing anything wrong, it means your nervous system has been through a lot. Supporting your nervous system through things like breath, movement, sunlight, and connection can make a big difference in this season.

If you’re in the thick of postpartum right now, you’re doing better than you think. Send this to a mom who needs that reminder today.

Ear tubes can absolutely be the right step for some kids. But many parents want to feel confident they’ve explored every layer before making that decision.

Often, the bigger question is why fluid keeps building up in the first place.

In our office, we take a closer look at how the ears are draining and how the nervous system is functioning, since both can play an important role in how the body handles ear pressure and repeat infections.

Our goal is to help parents better understand what may be contributing to the cycle so they can make the most informed decision for their child.

If you know someone who’s currently navigating this conversation, feel free to share this with them. And if your family is in that stage of exploring options, we’re always here to help you take a deeper look.
