Hi Parents ,

We are aware of the nation wide shortage of formula and we would like to take this opportunity to share our few Do'S and Don'ts to parents whose babies are formula fed.

Do's:
If you cannot formula of your choice switch to store brand formula as store brand formulas are not on recall and here with I have attached the formula alternatives for parents.

Tips to find formula.

1. Download the following five apps:
Target
CVS
Walmart
Walgreens
Kroger
2. Search for your desired formula in the search bar.
3. The result will show if the formula is available in the ZIP Code that you entered as your “home“ store. If it shows “out of stock“, there will be a place to click “find nearby” or “search other stores “. All these apps above have this capability. When you click that, it pulls up a list of stores and their availability for that formula.
4. Important: DO NOT GO to the store because you see it’s in stock. Instead, purchase the formula on the app. This forces the store to pull the formula for you. Usually it is ready for pick up within 2 hours depending on each store.
5. Other ways to find formula: Ask the manager of the store what day of the week and time the shipments usually come in.

DON'T:
1. Don't dilute the formula to stretch out as it can cause hyponatremia

2:Don't offer Cow's milk before 12 months of age

3: In regards to Goat milk they are deficient in Folate, Vit B12 and Iron so not a good choice

4: No Soy or Almond milk

5: No home formula recipes as it is complex.

Be consistent in your search and choose wisely.
