Bonnie Glavic, long time CASA staff member at CASA for Kids of Geauga County, has added a new critical role in the community.
While Bonnie is no longer a staff member there, her heart is still deeply tied to the mission and vision of CASA. Ohio CASA
She and director, Mary Ruth Shumway, are still very supportive of each other and have remained close friends.

⭐ Signature Adult Program Class of 2026 Spotlight – Bonnie Glavic ⭐
Bonnie is the Community Services and Administrative Coordinator for the Geauga County Probate and Juvenile Court. Originally from Farmer City, Illinois, Bonnie now calls Auburn Township home. She has one amazing daughter, Haylee, who just turned 25 and served in the Air Force.
Bonnie is passionate about helping others and staying active in her community. She serves as the Development Director on the Board of the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office LOSS Team, volunteers with Friends of WomenSafe Inc., and is a member of the Chardon Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking, crafting, and contributing to creative projects and fundraising initiatives.
Through Leadership Geauga, Bonnie looks forward to connecting with others, learning about services and opportunities in the county, and growing as a leader grounded in honesty, empathy, and integrity.
For Bonnie, the best part of Geauga County is its close-knit community, strong relationships, and beautiful landscapes that feel reminiscent of her roots.
Bonnie’s dedication, creativity, and community spirit will make her a valued member of the Class of 2026.
