State Health Plan Medicare-primary retirees and their covered Medicare-eligible dependents will have a new Medicare prescription drug program through the State Health Plan, known as SilverScript. Enrollment in SilverScript will automatically cancel their enrollment in Express Scripts Medicare.
This week, impacted members received a letter from Express Scripts Medicare about their disenrollment effective December 31, 2025. This was a CMS-required communication and there will be no interruption in their prescription drug coverage. PEBA will automatically enroll eligible members in SilverScript effective January 1, 2026, so they do not need to take any action.
