The PVM flowers will not be available on Saturday 4/18 due to lower temperatures tonight and tomorrow morning. They will be placed inside of the garage. We are evaluating Sunday sales and will post to update whether we will be selling or not on Sunday 4/19. Thank you for all of the support so far!

It is National Long Term Care Administrator’s Week. If you know our administrator, you know very well why this week is so important to us. If you don’t know her. Let us enlighten you.

Sandra Cline has been our administrator for over 9 years. In that 9 years, we have evacuated our facility 3 times for fires, endured the COVID pandemic and all that came with that, have had many life changes in our personal lives, have faced some major challenges that come with healthcare, and have dealt with the normal challenges that are often associated with nursing homes. Throughout the duration of all of that, Sandy has been our rock. She has guided us, molded us, and been exactly the kind of leadership that we needed. Even when she was dealing with some of her own personal challenges, she never skipped a beat on leading our team.

With Sandy as our administrator, we have consistently maintained a CMS 5-Star status for the past several years. And while that takes our whole team to accomplish, we know that it starts at the top. Without Sandy giving us all of the tools to be successful in our departments, it would not be feasible.

Long-term care administrators do so much to keep their facilities running smoothly and effectively. We are forever grateful to have one of the best in the business right here in our own nursing home. As her shirt says “Home is where your tribe is.” This home is better because she’s part of our tribe.

Thank you, Sandy, for all of your hard work, dedication, and leadership. You truly are the best of the best.

We are overjoyed to share that Elizabeth Vela passed her NCLEX and will now be working as an LPN at PVM!

Elizabeth worked as our activity director when she decided she wanted to become a nurse. She worked as a CNA on the weekend evenings and nights while she was obtaining her schooling. Elizabeth is very well known as our balloon girl who makes the most perfect creations! She is willing to step in wherever she is needed. We are so incredibly proud of her for continuing her education and reaching her goals. Congrats, Elizabeth! We’re glad to have you on our team!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! We welcome 2026 and are so excited to share all of the fun things we have planned for this year.

Our residents got to spend their New Years Eve having a ✨Casino Night✨ with black Jack, uno, slot machines, dominoes, darts, non-alcoholic champagne, and of course, some of the finest hors d'oeuvres. We had some big big winners last night, but they’re all winners in our book.

Huge shout out to Monique and Deanna who came up with the plan and executed it like champs. Thanks to Paula for organizing the food. Thanks to Elizabeth for th amazing balloon garland. Thanks to the rest of our staff to have up time on their New Year’s Eve to come in and make it such a perfect NYE for our people! We’ve got the coolest team.

We’ve missed a couple of important things! Here is our end of year in review!

We had our annual Thanksgiving dinner in November where we hosted approximately 80 guests.

We had our Christmas party with gifts and finger foods in December. Paula always goes all out. It was so much fun. These gifts are purchased with money from fund raisers that we do.

Obviously our balloon girl has been busy making our facility look extra festive for all of the events!

We’ve had a blessed year and want to wish you all a very safe and Happy New Year! We have all kinds of exciting plans for 2026. Stay tuned!
