You’re invited to a workshop reading of

Medusa and Her Sisters, a one-act play by Nancy Lu Hoffman

Saturday April 11 at 4:00 p.m.



Medusa, the infamous Gorgon, is stuck in a time loop.

For millenia, every time someone hears her name, Perseus comes in and cuts off her head. Until one night when she and her sisters manage to jump Perseus and demand Athena come talk. Can they convince Athena to reverse the curse she placed on Medusa? And tell the true story of how she came to be seen as monstrous?



Content warning: descriptions of sexual assault, trauma



Actors will read the ~45 minute play. Script discussion to follow. End by 6:00 p.m. Free.
