Did a nice trip to Phantom Farms Bakery in Cumberland. The residents were in heaven with everything...especially the size of the muffins! We learned that there was once a farmhouse on the property built back in the 1930s as a secret hideaway for drinking and gambling during prohibition, hence the name 'phantom farms.' Today a farm stand, bakery, country store, cafe, and cider mill are located on what was once a blanket of apple trees and cow pastures.

We are going to miss the joy that Michelle from "Stay Active and Independent for Life" Fitness brings to our Arbor Hill residents. We received a grant for 48 classes of physical therapy exercise. To celebrate our last class, we threw her a party and got her a little something as a gift. She gave everyone diplomas and 'gum' as an inside joke. We will miss her!!!

This was a hoot! We played the 'cheesiest' cheese ball game at Arbor Hill Assisted Living. Bought shower caps and shaving cream, put it on our residents' heads, and then tossed actual cheese ball snacks to see how many we could collect on each other's heads. It was such a blast and we had sooo many laughs!! Then we played basketball tossing the cheese balls in the trash when we were done.

Arbor Hill Assisted Living residents made homemade soaps for a hands-on activity. We purchased the DIY kit on Amazon and made various scents and shapes from the silicone molds. It was ideal for stress relief and mindfulness. We even individually wrapped them.

Some of our assisted living residents at Arbor Hill took a trip to Beyond Wrestling at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet in Cranston for an evening of wrestling entertainment. We did a Walmart trip prior to that, and also did a picnic before going to watch the matches.
