As we close out the year, we'd like to thank the City of Providence for $28,500 in bridge funding, which ensured uninterrupted medical and behavioral health services at the Overdose Prevention Center during a critical period of transition.
With this investment, VICTA provided care for 170 unique individuals through 1,001 units of service, stabilized billing to fully support physician and therapist time, and strengthened long term sustainability, including partnership with Brown addiction medicine fellows. As we head into the holiday season, we are confident in our ability to sustain services and thankful to the City of Providence for making this possible.
