It's never too early to start reading! Literacy isn’t something that begins in school; it begins at birth.
Brain development is most rapid during the first five years, especially in the first three. During this time, children’s brains are forming the neural connections necessary for language, attention, memory, and emotional regulation — all of which are essential for reading. By building strong verbal and social-emotional skills early on, we lay the foundation for reading success in the school years.
