Today, many of you shared experiences with trouble accessing the Providence Power Yoga website. We appreciate your emails and messages alerting us to the problem. The website is currently being worked on, but that work may take us into tomorrow. If you generally register for classes online, this is a great opportunity to explore using the PPY app as it remains unaffected — just search “Providence Power Yoga” in your respective app store. Alternatively, we are happy to register you for any class or assist with purchasing over the phone during studio hours.

FREE GUIDED COMMUNITY MEDITATION
Tomorrow, December 15th, at 7:15p @ PPY 365. Open to all.

In the wake of the recent tragedy at Brown University, many of us are carrying a lot of grief, fear, confusion and heaviness. We all feel its impact in different ways, and none of us have to hold it alone.

In response, we’re inviting our community to come together for a 45-minute guided meditation. Our hope is to offer a calm and gentle space — one rooted in the spirit of PPY — where we can slow down, breathe, and support each other. There’s no expectation to feel or show up in any particular way. We welcome you to come as you are, soften where you can and help us hold space for one another during a difficult time.

We are excited to have Juliet Loranger coming back to PPY to host A Kind + Keen Eye!

This workshop, designed for teachers of all experience levels and even seasoned practitioners, will focus on refining our gaze to observe our classes and practices efficiently and without judgement.

Juliet is coming to PPY ✨THIS WEEKEND✨ on Saturday 12/13 to teach a free class as a precursor to the workshop coming in January. Practice with Juliet will be at 10:30 and will be followed by a Q&A to shed more light on January’s offering.

Space is limited in Saturdays class, so book early!

Last year’s Giving Tree was such a success, we’re doing it again this year! In 2024 we adopted 5 families from a local school district. This year there are 9 families in need — almost double!

If you’re able to help us make holidays magical, the Giving Tree is ready for you at 365 and will be ready at East tomorrow (12/8). Here’s what you need to know…

• Each ornament is one wish. You’re welcome to get that exact thing or use it as inspiration to get something similar within your means.
• Gifts need to be returned to EITHER studio by 12/17, unwrapped, with the ornament attached (so we know what family it goes to).
• In some cases, we have links to the items on the wish list. If your ornament has “*LINK” written on it and you want the link, email nik@ppyri.com.

Even if you’re not able to help this fundraiser economically — likes, comments and shares are help, too!
