Last week, our incredible Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Al Hulley, was honored with The Mary I. DuVally Distinguished Service Award at the APTA Rhode Island Annual Meeting. With over 200 PTs and PTAs in attendance, Al was recognized for 15 years of selfless service advancing the physical therapy profession in Rhode Island.

Al’s dedication to Meeting Street and our PT community was highlighted, earning him a well-deserved standing ovation. Congratulations, Al!

Earlier this week, we were proud to host a special book signing for former Meeting Street student Joseph Ferreira! Surrounded by family, friends, and longtime colleagues, Joseph celebrated the release of his inspiring book, "The Impossible Journey to Reality". You’ll get to hear more about it during this year’s Meeting Street Telethon.

Our friends at Old Navy are incredible community partners in providing real-world learning experiences for our students. After The Schwartz School students had such a great visit, some students from The Carter School were able to visit Old Navy Warwick Mall for hands-on job training.
They practiced restocking socks and organizing displays, building their confidence while developing important job readiness skills like sorting, fine motor coordination, and attention to detail.

Our middle schoolers at have been busy campaigning for Student Council. From posters to speeches and slogans, these students have shown real leadership and creativity.

Votes will be cast this Thursday. It’s a great opportunity for students to practice public speaking, communication, and teamwork. We’re proud of all their hard work and enthusiasm.
