Xoie, a dynamic preschooler in our Early Learning Center (ELC), Meeting Street’s early education program in Providence, is ready to shine in this year’s Meeting Street Telethon, presented by Cardi's Furniture & Mattresses! Sweet and full of joy, Xoie first joined Meeting Street through our Early Intervention program and has continued to blossom here at the ELC, showing her strength every step of the way. Despite living with a complex heart condition, she fills each day with laughter and play. She loves learning letters and numbers, singing along to Encanto, and coloring bright masterpieces. She’s also a pro at hide-and-seek, so keep an eye out for our youngest co-host stealing the spotlight! Tune in Saturday, January 31st on WPRI 12 at 7 pm to see more of Xoie and her co-host friends!

Our Schwartz School students recently enjoyed a special moment in music class! Their teacher, Mr. Darakananda, brought in his own violin to give students a closer look at the instrument and share how music comes to life through sound, strings, and storytelling.

The Schwartz School is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist and Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. The PT and PTA support students through functional evaluations and the development and implementation of individualized treatment programs aligned with IEP goals. Working collaboratively, they deliver therapeutic services, integrate goals into a comprehensive educational program, and maintain timely, professional documentation while partnering closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members to help each student make meaningful progress.

Ollie is a kindergartner at The Grace School and a proud graduate of Meeting Street’s Early Learning Center. Often described as “joy in human form,” he lights up every room with his laughter and boundless energy. Diagnosed with Lamb-Shaffer Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, and autism, Ollie has faced challenges with incredible courage and an unstoppable spirit.
