A very beloved friend was brought to Nature's Pawprint: a crayfish. He was the king of the tank and the inspiration of his caregivers.
This is why Aquamation is so special. This little guy's family would likely not have received his cremains if they had utilized flame cremation - too harsh a process for his fragile body to withstand. The gentle nature of Aquamation was the perfect send-off that was incredibly fitting with the way he lived his life 🌊💙. In addition to having cremains returned, ink and clay impressions of his delicate features were able to be obtained and subsequently treasured.
Perhaps these types of encounters with such unique pets will be limited, so to be a part of this experience was beyond meaningful💙🦐
