For nearly 20 years, Ruben has been a cornerstone of Elmwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He keeps our home beautiful, welcoming, and full of heart. 💙 He's known affectionately as “Papa Ruben,” and he goes above and beyond every day, lending a helping hand and a warm smile to residents, staff, and families alike. Thank you for all you do!🌟

Ruben has been a cornerstone of the Elmwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center community for nearly 20 years and brings with him almost 25 years of experience in healthcare. He truly makes Elmwood a home. Every day, Ruben works tirelessly to ensure our grounds are beautiful and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors alike.

He takes care of our facility as if it were his own—finding creative and individualized solutions to fix equipment and make continuous improvements around the building. A talented painter and craftsman, Ruben has remodeled and refreshed many areas of Elmwood over the years, always taking great pride in his work.

Beyond his technical skills, what makes Ruben truly special is his heart. He is always ready to lend a helping hand to any resident, staff member, or family member—and he does it all with a warm smile. Around here, we affectionately call him “Papa Ruben”—a name he has more than earned through his care, dedication, and fatherly presence in our home.
