Wednesday, our residents enjoyed a meaningful visit to the Springville Museum of Art 🖼️✨ where we explored Enduring Beauty: John Hafen and the Power of Art.
As we moved through the gallery, something special happened 💫 — many residents recognized Utah landscapes they grew up with in John Hafen’s paintings 🌄. Familiar mountains, valleys, and skies sparked memories of childhood homes, early mornings, family outings, and simpler times 💭❤️
We also wandered into In Search of Ourselves: Soviet Art and the Shared Human Spirit, and admired works by Nikolai Nikolaevich Yakovenko, Boris Pavlovich Shvarkov, and Mikhail Mikhailovich Bozhi — pieces that reminded us that even in far-away places and times, people share hopes, work, community, and beauty 🌍🤝
