👶Newborns are so exciting! We see a lot of babies and newborns at the clinic and we can't get enough of it. This is the scale we use for regular weight checks. If you have a little one make sure to bring them in regularly to ensure they're hitting growth milestones. 🛤

1/2 lb. asparagus, ends trimmed
2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil, divided
kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dried oregano
FOR THE DRESSING
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. Greek yogurt
1 1/2 c. chopped basil leaves
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1/4 c. chopped chives (plus more for garnish)
1/4 c. lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
FOR THE BOWLS
4 c. cooked brown rice
1 avocado, sliced
1 c. halved cherry tomatoes

Jansen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Prior to this, he practiced as a nurse in a variety of settings, including acute inpatient care, inpatient psych, and the operating room. Jansen comes from a healthcare family and is married to an ultrasound tech. They have two young children. Jansen sees patients of all ages and backgrounds and enjoys providing empathetic care to all. Outside of work, Jansen loves to spend time with family and friends as well as collecting sneakers and being outside as much as possible.
