When was your last skin check? ☀️

Annual skin exams can be an important part of preventative care, especially for adults 30 and older, people with a history of tanning bed use, or those with a personal or family history of skin cancer. A dermatology provider can evaluate your skin, monitor any changes, and help determine how often you should have your skin checked.

Our dermatology team is here to help you stay proactive about your skin health.

We are excited to welcome Brinton Woods, DO to our soon to reopen Roy Family Medicine clinic! Brinton Woods, DO, is a family medicine physician who helps patients understand their health and manage their well-being with confidence. He values building collaborative relationships with patients and working together to solve problems, set goals, and improve overall wellness at every stage of life.

Dr. Woods earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Education from the University of Utah before completing medical school at the A. T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Brown University Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, where he gained broad clinical experience caring for diverse patient populations. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Woods offers a wide range of Family Medicine services, including routine annual physicals, sick visits, care for minor injuries such as lacerations and sprains, mental health medication management, contraception and family planning, skin biopsies, and support with weight loss. His comprehensive training allows him to address both acute and ongoing health needs with a practical, patient-focused approach.

Dr. Woods chose a career in medicine because he enjoys working closely with people on their health goals and finding meaningful ways to improve quality of life. He was drawn to Revere Health for its strong reputation among both patients and providers, and for the opportunity to shape his practice around the unique needs of the community he serves. The clinic will be open as of April 30th, call and schedule an appointment!

It’s Sleep Awareness Week.

Quality sleep isn’t just about feeling rested — it plays a vital role in your immune system, mental clarity, mood, and overall health.

Small changes can make a big difference:
• Stick to a consistent sleep schedule
• Create a calming bedtime routine
• Limit screens before bed
• Keep your bedroom cool and dark

If ongoing sleep issues are affecting your daily life, talk with your provider. Better sleep starts with better habits — and sometimes the right support.

March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. 💙

Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers when caught early, and awareness matters at every age.

Talk to a provider if you notice:
• Changes in bowel habits that last more than a few days
• Blood in your stool
• Ongoing abdominal discomfort
• Unexplained weight loss
• Persistent fatigue

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Screening guidelines now recommend starting at age 45 for average-risk adults, and earlier for those with risk factors.

Early detection saves lives.
