LMT, MPS, ISSA Elite Trainer & Transformation Coach

Welcome to ANVIL Bodyworks, where we share in your transformative journey to health and wellness. From a passion cultivated since childhood, Chris has evolved into a Licensed Massage Therapist/Bodyworker, specializing in breath and bodywork for both physical and mental well-being. Chris understands the toll that stress can take on the body and mind. His personal journey, from embracing a misguided approach to self-care to a life-changing realization in 2017, forms the foundation of his mission and sparked a commitment to share the power of self-care with others. With a background in martial arts, including 20+ years as a defensive tactics instructor, Chris draws parallels between the precision of a samurai sword and the need for individuals to be sharp and strong. As a Massage Therapist/Bodyworker, Chris employs therapeutic, spa, athletic, and deep tissue modalities, along with acupressure techniques, to eliminate waste, reduce stress, and enhance flexibility. At ANVIL Bodyworks, Chris's philosophy centers on each client being a 'precision instrument' requiring professional 'tuning.' A commitment to providing productive sessions with included tools, such as aromatherapeutic essential oils, hot packs, hot stones, cupping, and the Dolphin MPS, defines the ANVIL experience. Chris encourages clients to adopt a ‘healthy self-interest’ and to expect ‘more’ from their massage, emphasizing that recuperation and rejuvenation are necessities, not luxuries. Chris is dedicated to helping individuals minimize unseen stress, take time to breathe, and stay sharp. At ANVIL Bodyworks, the mission is clear—apply exacting pressure through bodywork to remove impurities and help clients get back to 'doing what they do,' taking care of those who depend on them. Self-care is not just a concept; it's a commitment to equipping individuals to take care of themselves so they can better care for others. Expect more, experience more, and embark on a journey of wellness with Chris at ANVIL Bodyworks. Additionally, Chris is a certified ISSA Elite Trainer and has been active in the health and wellness space for over 25 years. An Army Veteran, former Supervisor with the Colorado Department of Corrections, and DoD contractor; Chris continually strives to strike harmony between the week and the weekend enjoying motorcycling, hiking, fishing, reading, and photography.

February burnout is real.

Low sunlight.
Cold mornings.
Tax season.
Work stress.
Family obligations.

Your nervous system has been bracing for months.

Massage helps:
• Shift from sympathetic (fight/flight)
• Into parasympathetic (rest/restore)
• Improve emotional regulation
• Deepen sleep cycles

This isn’t just muscle work. It’s a neurological reset.

Your body is asking to exhale.

Book your nervous system reset session.

We normalize:
• Gym memberships
• Supplements
• Chiropractic visits
• Annual checkups

But regular massage? We treat it like a splurge.

Here’s what consistent bodywork does:
• Reduces injury risk
• Supports lymphatic flow
• Lowers cortisol
• Improves recovery time
• Maintains mobility
• Improves sleep quality

Longevity is not built in a crisis. It’s built in consistency.

The strongest bodies are maintained, not rescued.

Ask about consistent scheduling options.

As daylight increases, your body wants to move more.

But if winter left you tight…movement will feel restricted.

That “spring stiffness” isn’t age. It’s unaddressed tissue tension.

Bodywork:
• Restores glide between muscle layers
• Improves joint mobility
• Increases circulation
• Reduces inflammation
• Regulates the nervous system

Prepare the body now.
So spring feels expansive, not painful.

Book your “Forge for Spring” session.

Somehow massage became:
• A girls’ spa day
• A Mother’s Day gift
• A Valentine’s splurge

But here’s the truth:

Massage is for:
• Men who lift heavy and carry stress quietly
• Women who carry families and tension in their hips
• Professionals who sit all day
• First responders who never fully power down

Longevity requires maintenance.

Your body doesn’t care what holiday it is.
It responds to consistent care.

This Valentine’s:
Book one for you.
Add a gift card for someone you love.
Because strength and softness belong to everyone.

Schedule your session + add a gift card today.

By February, most bodies are carrying more than they realize.

Cold weather tightens fascia.
Stress accumulates.
Movement decreases.
Sleep shifts.

Your shoulders creep forward.
Your hips stiffen.
Your nervous system stays alert longer than it should.

This is the season where small tension becomes chronic restriction.

Massage isn’t an indulgence.
It’s maintenance.
It’s recalibration.

Before spring asks more of your body — prepare it.

Book your late-winter reset session this week.

Movement is freedom — and freedom begins with a body that feels supported.
Massage softens what’s rigid, lengthens what’s tight, and creates space where pain has settled.
