💪 Movement is Medicine 💪

A new scientific study of 128,000+ people found that exercise can be more effective than medication for treating depression. Regular movement boosts mood, motivation, and focus — releasing endorphins, serotonin, and dopamine while reducing stress hormones like cortisol.

Those who exercised about 150 minutes a week (walking, yoga, cycling, etc.) saw the biggest improvements — without the side effects of medication.

While therapy and medication are still essential for many, this research reminds us: even a short daily walk can lift your mood and help your brain heal. 🌿

Your body doesn’t just carry your mind — it heals it.
