In the words of Carolyn Dawson Bumpas, we were able to wiggle ourselves into the recreation center, find a seat, sing the Alma Mater. reflect on the memories of those who were absent from the body and present with the Lord, get in line (Some broke Line) told the servers what you could eat, returned to your seat, chit chatted, took phots, and played Bingo.

Some of my class mated I failed to recognize because of your not aging like cousin Otis and me. I forgot to get "Punpkin" to take a photo of Cousin/Sister Gloria Ann Smith Burkeen Duke and I.

My Brother Robert Hackney, I didn't know that those fine shirts were freebies! I would have stole at least 6 ###.'s. The lemonade was potent, gave me a buss which would not allow me to break by curfew and go down near Mt Calvary M B Church to let it be known that I can't event slow dance or walk in shoes on the ground!

The truth is really, because of the excitement of being with my friends, and loved ones and remembering the seat occupied in the past that are now vacant. It was necessary for me to rest, sleep and think about the goodness of The Lord. I was able to walk up the ramp, open the church's door, speak to the pastor, go to the keyboard and sing unto the Lord A New Song because of HIS marvelous works!

Hello my friend,
Today got me thinking about why I started The Rose Of Sharon Funeral Service. I was sick of seeing unmarked graves and how families were sometimes victims of business owners while they were not thinking clearly because they had lost a loved one.

That's not freedom to choose but getting ripped off.

So, GOD led me to something about it, so that you can make the decision to plan your final arrangements, selecting the service and merchandise at prices that actually make sense.

Today legislation will be signed that will cause persons in health care facilities with Medicaid as the payor, the least along with children to not have food, employees being laid off along with having to pay more for everything!

So, for the next 60 days make an appointment to select your final arrangements, Direct Cremation, Cremation with a Memorial Service, A Funeral service followed by cremation, or a Traditional Service followed by burial.

Just last week, (On my birthday) a twenty year old relative took his life, and the service was held on July 1, 2025. Depression overtookhim and death resulted! On July 7thanother family will have the Celebration of Life for their loved one at a cost of over $20,000. Why? Cemeteries and the expense of openingand closing the grave is more expensive than the funeral home bill.

I thank GOD and thank you for your kindness. One year ago today, I was with the wife, mother, sister and her husband, an aunt and two first cousins at our local hospital when the Reverend Randall Lee Webster, DMin. transitioned. He served as the Manager of The Rose of Sharon Funeral Service, Pulaski, TN. Prior to his departing this life, he had completed the paperwork required for the Direct Cremation of the loved one of a local resident. With him, it had to be right! Lift up his survivors, the Bethel Chapel AMEC Family, Columbia, TN along with the Staff members of Grace Memorial Funeral Home, Fayetteville, TN, The Rose of Sharon Funeral Service, Pulaski, TN and of V. K. Ryan and Son Funeral Home, Columbia, TN.
Thank GOD and Thank you! W H Smith
