The members of the Christiansburg Friendship Café created some very colorful "Easter Eggs" for the display board last week. If you zoom in you can also see a group picture of this lively bunch, and photos from a 100th Birthday Celebration. The members finished their day seated in a circle, passing around balloons with pool noodles. They sure know how to have fun!

The NRV Agency on Aging Caregiver Conference and Resource Fair offers a full day of resources, educational opportunities, and support for volunteer, family and professional caregivers.

There will be over 50 service providers, industry professional and educators in attendance. We provide hot-topic classrooms and lunch is on us.

This event is FREE for all volunteer and family caregivers. (nominal fee for professional caregivers).

Take a look at these colorful Easter Basket prints the seniors from Meadowbrook Friendship Café decorated this week! Spring is in the air!

The Friendship Café, or Congregate Meal Program, offers a hot well-balanced meal 2-3 times per week in a group setting. Seniors have an opportunity to socialize and engage in enrichment activities.
