InStill Mindfulness Cultivating a mindful world for all with kindness, compassion, and caring through education, action, and community.
(1)

InStill is committed to cultivating a mindful world for all. Our mission is to cultivate kindness, compassion, and caring through education, action, and community. Our Core Principle is Connection—with heart, mind, self, synapses, nature, and community. Our Values include:
Gratitude: We value gratitude in our own lives, and offer it freely. Self-care: We value self-care in our own lives, and aim to instill it in those around us. Awareness: We value the development of our own awareness, and provide tools to help others develop it in themselves. Redefine the mind: We value how mindfulness has changed our relationship with our mind, and foster it in others. Simplicity: We value simplicity as an antidote to chaos. Adaptability: We value adaptability, and welcome change rather than resist it. Walk the Walk: We value authenticity, and only aim to ‘preach’ what we actually practice. Acceptance: We value the equanimity gained through acceptance, and try to meet people where they are.

🌟 Sound Bath with Shane King — What to Expect 🌟

Ready to experience deep relaxation and full-body grounding?

A sound bath is a meditative, acoustic immersion designed to soothe the nervous system and reconnect mind and body. During this session, Shane King uses layered vibrations from instruments like Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, chimes, drums, rain-sticks, and more — each chosen with intention and purpose.

As the sounds wash over you, they help guide the body into a deeply restful, restorative state.

✨ Benefits May Include:

💙 Lower heart rate & blood pressure
😌 Reduced stress, tension, anxiety & fatigue
🌿 Improved sleep and relaxation
🌞 Increased energy & positive mood
🧘‍♀️ Relief from physical discomfort
✨ A greater sense of grounding and inner calm

Mindfulness Matters in Recovery 🧠💛
New research published in JAMA Network Open shows that incorporating mindfulness-based group sessions into opioid use disorder treatment significantly reduces opioid cravings — by 67% — compared to standard support groups.

This randomized clinical trial — led by researchers from Cambridge Health Alliance and Harvard Medical School — found that people receiving mindfulness support in addition to buprenorphine reported much lower cravings, highlighting mindfulness as a powerful complementary treatment in recovery.

📌 Opioid craving is a major risk factor for relapse, and evidence like this supports integrating trauma-informed mindfulness practices into treatment frameworks.
📌 Mindfulness isn’t just stress reduction — it can strengthen presence, awareness, and resilience in recovery.

💬 As one participant shared, mindfulness helped them find calm without even needing sound, simply by grounding in the present moment.

🌿 We’re Grateful for Our Friends at Yogaville 🌿
We are honored to help share Satchidananda Ashram–Yogaville’s New Year’s Silent Retreat 2026 — a beautiful opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life and reconnect with inner peace.

🧘‍♂️ New Year’s Silent Retreat 2026
