A special thank you to Melissa Vanderbilt-Bestor for providing an insightful demonstration on cognitive impairment and the 7 stages of Alzheimer’s type dementia. Your expertise and compassion truly helped these future leaders understand the challenges faced by those living with dementia. 💜

There’s nothing quite like the healing power of puppy love! 🐶💙 Yesterday, Port Charlotte Rehabilitation Center celebrated National Dog Day with wagging tails, wet noses, and lots of smiles thanks to our friends at the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County.

Our residents enjoyed special visits from these furry companions, bringing joy, comfort, and plenty of cuddles. 🐾❤️ Moments like these remind us how much therapy, love, and happiness pets can bring into our lives.

Port Charlotte Rehabilitation Center is diving into Shark Week with jaws-dropping fun!
Our residents got creative with shark-themed artwork, enjoyed interactive games, and gathered together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic movie Jaws 🦈🍿.
