Here at Paradise Behavioral we are seeking a motivated Therapist, either a LMHC or a LCSW. The sky is the limit on income potential just depending on how much they would want to work. We have a great support team that is super to work with. So if anyone is interested or can spread the word let us know.

Goodness , It's August already. Didn't we just have a new year? So as we see this year slide on by remember take one day at a time. They go by faster than we think.

As the time passes we are starting to relax more. Life is returning to a new normal everyone is sighing a collective breath of air. We are poking out from our safe areas and starting to interact with the rest of the community. So the big question now is am I ready for this brave new world? For one I am .

06/06/2021

Wow, I this year is flying by. The world is righting it's self an people are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel an not a train. As we look at this new world let's remember who is in control an know it's sure not me,

Well we now have 3 months in the books with only 9 more to go for the year. Things are starting to open back up more and there is more of a return to what we hope is normal. Of at least what appears to be a normal. This brings hope of reduced anxiety and depression. Whee. So to help things along its time to get off our collective duffs an get active doing something to help our body's an minds. Every time I exercise, ride bike, I always feel much better.

As I write this I see spring popping out all around me , trees are just now budding , flowers everywhere and the sounds of Grandchildren playing. It gives me hope of better things to come.

Finally, He is risen.

It appears as the year progresses some of the past years anxiety levels are decreasing as vaccines are being available to certain populations. This helps as it affects our loved ones. There are those too that try to receive the shots but are unable to schedule even though the meet all criteria. Then it gets opened to an additional group. This leads to frustration or depression. All can be said is to just hang in there an things will turn out for the best.

Wow, the first two months of the new year are gone. If you are like me they flew by. Spring is just around the corner, except here in South Florida it's already here. The favorite time of the year POLLEN SEASON. Wheeeeeee

01/31/2021

Wow, January sure went by fast! It appears we are in for a whirlwind of a year with high hopes of getting back to a refreshing normal. As there are indicators the virus will subside anxiety levels will also subside. So basically let's all take a deep breath and be courteous to those around us. By doing so we are able relax an enjoy life as we should.

01/14/2021

Whew the new year has come! However, there has already been a couple hiccups but by keeping a positive attitude and working together we will be able to move forward. I guess what I'm saying is the right attitude keeps me grounded an seeing a positive even when things appear bleak. So now is the time for healing an helping others without expecting something in return. Oh I forgot to say, HAPPY NEW YEAR.

12/22/2020

Wow, the holidays are upon us. Many are stressed with all of the last minute details: family coming to visit, planning a meal, not planning a meal, do we invite a whole bunch of family or not, do we go visit or not, did get the right present, did forget someone, what about snacks? Way too many things not enough time.

Please let it all end an be back to normal or at least something that looks like it.

12/12/2020

Whew 2020 is about to over. This year has been trying on everyone. We each have had very stressing events that make us reevaluate our life. Our primary goals have been adjusted where we have learned to go with the flow rather than figh ting the current. Instead of looking at staying focused on current pressing event we tend to be overwhelmed by the whole warehouse of issues. We forget to take steps in measurable and achievable goals. When we slow down just a bit an take things one day /goal at a time life is so much better. So let's look at the new year as an opportunity for a fresh start. See you there with a smile .
