Timothy M. "Jay-Bird" Junod

Timothy M. “Jay-Bird” Junod, 68, of Mahaffey, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026 at his home with his family by his side.

He was born August 21, 1957 to the late William “Bill” and Eleanor (Miller) Junod in Clearfield.

A 1976 graduate of Purchase Line High School, Tim was a truck driver all of his life. He began driving truck right out of high school for his uncle’s Carl Miller and Eugene Miller Trucking. He then became a self-employed truck driver for 45 years. He then became employed with Lansberry Trucking from 2016-2020. Tim never stood still, from trucking to then climbing on a tractor and going to the field, he enjoyed being outside. His love of animals was strong from helping his kids with their 4-H projects to always wanting more animals.

He is survived by his wife, of 39 years whom he married January 3, 1987, Betty (Bell) Junod, Mahaffey, two daughters, Megan R. Junod, Mahaffey, Abby Bartlett and husband Craig, Curwensville, a son Benjamin J. Junod, Mahaffey, five brothers, William “Bill” Junod, twin brother Thomas R. Junod and wife Barbie, both of Mahaffey, Richard P. Junod and wife Dorcas, LaJose, Gary L. Junod and wife Linda, OH, D. Carl Junod and wife Karlene, NC, a sister Joyce A. Hess, Mahaffey, along with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sandy Weidman and a sister-in-law Helen Junod.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Waldron Funeral Home, 831 Market Street, Mahaffey, PA 15757 and on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Cherry Corner Bible Church, 1464 Church Road, Curwensville, PA 16833 with Pastor George Solley officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Cherry Corner Bible Church, 1464 Church Road, Curwensville, PA 16833, Otterbein God’s Missionary Church, 153 Clover Run Road, Mahaffey, PA 15757 or the Mahaffey Ambulance Service, 104 E. Main Street, Mahaffey, PA 15757.

Interment will take place at Otterbein Church Cemetery.

A special thanks to Pastor Solley and Rev. Kratz for there words of comfort, and to the hospice nurses, Ed, Tamica, Jess, and Sherry for taking such good care of him

Jeffrey L. Bowers, 53 of Ringgold, peacefully passed away after a long courageous battle with Leukemia on Thursday, February 26, 2026 with his family by his side.

He was born March 15, 1972, to Arnold C. and Margaret (McAninch) Bowers in Clarion.

Jeff was a 1990 graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Smicksburg. Jeff worked at Brookville Equipment Corp. for 27 years. He had a great sense of humor, always making everyone laugh. He enjoyed going to the races, visiting, sitting on the porch, and being outside. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years Tammy R. (Alabran) Bowers, Ringgold, a daughter Kylie R. Bowers, Ringgold, his mother, Margaret Bowers, Punxsutawney, two sisters; Julie S. Ruth and husband Randy, DuBois, Jennifer D. Bowers, Brookville, nieces and nephews, Daisy Stone and husband Jason, Brock Ruth, Jesse Kilcoin and Cora Kilcoin, his mother and father-in-law, Glen and Sandy Alabran, Trade City, and brother-in-law, Rob Alabran, Nicktown.

He was preceded in death by his father and his K9 companion Bella.

There will be no immediate services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Terry A. Watkins, 66, of Marion Center, peacefully passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at his home with his wife by his side.

He was born January 18, 1960 to Dean Watkins and Rebecca Charles in Kittanning.

He was a 1978 graduate of the Punxsutawney Area High School. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Terry was a self-employed contractor for over 30 years. He always had a project going to keep him busy. Terry enjoyed visiting casinos and a good game of Black Jack. He and his wife enjoyed attending concerts. They attended over 300 concerts and comedy shows. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife 41 years, Sandra D. (Tyger) Watkins, Marion Center, a daughter, Nicole L. Pomeroy and husband Patrick, Reynoldsville, a son Kristopher I. Watkins and spouse Victoria Grove, Dayton, four grandchildren; Avri, Lanie, and Jolene Watkins and Emily Pomeroy, two sisters, Carole and Rebecca, and his dog, Link.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert Watkins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice.

Ronald Mac Wright, Sr.

Ronald Mac Wright, Sr., 79, of Mahaffey, passed away peacefully at home on February 19, 2026.

He was born on April 29, 1946, in Burnside to Ross J. and Mae (Bouch) Wright.

After serving in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, he spent many years running heavy equipment for Benjamin Coal Co. Ronald had a passion for the outdoors and hunting, but he especially enjoyed fishing with his son Ronnie and grandson Nick in the Gulf of Louisiana. One of his fondest memories was when Ronnie and Donnie took him to Texas to cheer on the Dallas Cowboys, his favorite football team. Ronald was a member of The Church of Christ and he loved spending time with family, creating memories that his loved ones will always treasure.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia (Hilliard) Wright, his children: Ronald Jr. (Jacque) Wright, Louisiana, Melissa Wright Termin, Mahaffey, John (Kelly) Wright, Missouri, Donald (Christine) Wright, Mahaffey, and Bridgett (Skip) Buterbaugh, Cherry Tree, 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother Dan (Carol) Wright, and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry Wright and Thomas Wright and Robert Wright.

Family and friends will be received at Waldron Funeral Home, 831 Market Street, Mahaffey, PA, 15757 on Tuesday, from 2 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM. Additional visitation will be on Wednesday, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.
