Dr. Tina here...Recently, I saw a comment on social media calling chiropractic “quackery” and claiming there’s no scientific evidence to support it. I couldn’t help but giggle.
At the very same time, I was brushing up on the Webster Technique when I came across a research study...just one of many. I'll link the study in the comments. This particular study showed that pregnant women receiving regular chiropractic care had significantly improved quality-of-life scores, beyond what could be explained by chance alone. In other words, the improvements were real and measurable.
Anyone who has been pregnant knows how dramatically the body changes during those months. Even small improvements in comfort, function, and overall well-being can make a meaningful difference.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: chiropractic isn’t about chasing pain. It’s about reducing interference in the nervous system so the body can function the way it was designed to. That’s where true healing begins. That's were feeling better begins. That's where living better begins. I'm always honored to be a part of that process with someone.
So if that’s “quackery”, call me a duck. 🦆
