Happy Mother’s Day !

What a beautiful day to all spend together honoring you!!!

I know it may not always feel like it, but you are truly celebrated every day - and especially today.

The girls and I are just so incredibly lucky to be able to call you “Mommy!” Whether it’s pulling together large family holiday meals on a minutes notice, watching you cross marathon finish lines… dedicating your professional life to helping others create their own families, or snuggling up on the couch and helping find the perfect family movie - you do it all and we LOVE YOU for all of it and more!!!

Thank you Brooke Helton and for the invitation to discuss all things acne - including causes, prevention, and treatment options.

A few quick tips:
- develop and adhere to a skincare routine (with the help of your board certified dermatologist and in house aesthetician!)
- more is NOT always better
- minimize and avoid known triggers including products, foods, environments
- do NOT manipulate!!! You may think you’re helping and it may feel or look better in the moment, but… it’s not!

On , I wanted to share some information on a rare form of, melanoma - mucosal melanoma. Thank you and for the opportunity.

Key points:
- this is a very rare form, representing 1% of all melanomas - and as implied occurs on mucosal surfaces, including the genitourinary tract (urethra, va**na and v***a); nose, lips and mouth, throat (including esophagus); and a**s and re**um.

- lesions can be identified during yearly check-ups and exams, but are often without early symptoms, resulting in discovery at advanced stages. This serves as a great reminder of the importance of regular medical exams.

- never ignore something new, changing or unusual! It’s always important to schedule an appointment with your doctor if anything is identified or concerning to you.
