Liz is Certified Foot Care Nurse specializing in competent, gentle person-centered foot and toenail care. Why is it important to practice good foot care? Our feet keep us mobile over the course of our lives and yet we often neglect caring for them. This neglect is especially true as we age, due to loss of acute vision, and an older person's inability to bend down or pull our feet close to us to inspect them. Good foot care prevents many issues. Some are fungal issues, callouses, and corns that lead to poor balance, pain and most importantly, falls from foot pain. This is where I come in. Foot care nurses play a vital role in assessing and monitoring potential problems that could lead to complications. My belief is that my client's needs are of utmost importance. I welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver high quality care to you or your loved one, whatever age you are!
