With over 25 years of experience in the counseling field, Michelle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) a highly researched based technique utilized in treating trauma. She also uses CBT ( cognitive behavioral health therapy) which is evidenced based utilized to treat common emotional issues and other modalities such as reality therapy to fit the needs of clients. Michelle has worked extensively with multicultural populations, with experience in working with Adults, marriages, families, and children. She has experience with Veterans, First Responders, professionals, faith based leaders, and in working with past wounds of trauma. As a professional mental health counselor and person of faith, Michelle is skilled in integrating faith as part of the work if faith is an important part of your journey. Over the years Michelle has helped more than hundreds of adults, marriages, and families.
