The Sacral Chakra, located in the pelvic area 1-2 inches below the navel, is essential
for balancing pleasure, emotions, relationships, creativity. Its goal is to bring fluidity,
pleasure, intimacy, relaxation, emotional stability, compassion and a zest for life.
Affects: Relationships, emotions, sexual desire, attachment, creativity, sensitivity.
Reproductive organs, uterus, ovaries, bladder, spleen, large intestine, blood sugar,
taste, sexuality.
If you're out of balance, it may manifest in the following ways.
Too Much:
Emotional over reaction, emotional attachments, neediness, co-dependency, addictions
to things that bring pleasure, Alcohol and drug abuse, unforgiving, resentful, controlling.
Too Little:
Constantly looking for “The one”. Fear of happiness or pleasure. Closed off-thoughts of
intimacy, triggered feelings of guilt, shame and pain, withdrawn, self sabotage, lack of
creativity, lack of authenticity, pessimism.
Physical Issues.
Hormone imbalances, low libido, sexual issues, UT, depression. prostate issues, chronic
low back pain, sciatica, IBS, Crohn's, diverticulitis, menstrual issues, bladder problems,
