Pioneer House AFH is currently hiring for a weekday dayshift caregiver to provide care, meals and activities for our 6 elderly patients.
Shifts available are 7am-7pm
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
CNA or HCA license is accepted. Must have Dementia Specialty training, Mental Health Specialty Training, Nurse Delegation, Diabetes Delegation, CPR and First Aid and Food Handlers card.
Must submit to WA state background check and fingerprints
Must have 3 amazing references
Must absolutely love spending time with the elderly, have plenty of patience and compassion and be extremely reliable.

I am so sad to tell everyone, I am no longer going to be the owner of Pioneer House. As much love as I have for Pioneer House…..I am just not able to keep up with the commute weekly from Spokane along with giving the time Pioneer House deserves and the time my family deserves………..I’m truly beyond exhausted.

The exciting news is that one of my very own amazing employees….Parwinder, is taking over the business.🤗

She is one of the most kind and caring people. She has a compassion for others that I truly admire. Par will be taking over the Facebook account Sept 1

We specialize in memory care for people who have been diagnosed with dementia. We are licensed for 6 patients in the home. We offer 24 hour care.

Pioneer House Opening

If you have a loved one that is no longer able to live independently in their home, but you don’t feel a nursing home is the right fit for them, check out what an Adult Family Home is all about!

Pioneer House is a home for 6 elderly residents to live together with nursing assistants
staffed around the clock to help provide quality care and safety.

This small family setting is often far more safe and comfortable for the elderly and their family members who frequently worry their loved one will not get the attention and care they deserve in the bigger facilities.

We currently have 1 opening available at Pioneer House for a male or female. We provide all medication management, meals, snacks, housekeeping, laundry, personal care, entertainment and activities everyday.

Our setting allows for your loved one to have a quality of life they share with others going through the same type of struggles they go through. They can enjoy the benefits of a safe loving home with friendships and companionship when their family can’t be with them everyday.

Come tour our home and meet our caring compassionate group of nursing assistants, and the amazing residents that have become our family!!

We accept long-term care insurances, VA and private pay financing. We do not currently have a Medicaid bed available.

Rates are based on the individual long term care assessment.

Our folks are very special and we enjoy them very much. We are looking for a weekend nursing assistant who will love our people as much as we do!! ❤️

Pioneer House AFH is hiring for a weekend CNA Saturday 7am-7pm and Sunday 7am-7pm.

If you are looking for full time, there will be an opportunity for additional hours after the first 30 days.

Pay is dependent on experience and credentials $17-$22hr

Position requirements:

Strong employment history with 3 professional references

5 years experience with:
Knowledge of CarePlans, MAR’s, prog notes, following doctor orders, Infection Control Procedures, AFH laws, Charting, Incident reports, Communication reports, patient care and vitals, etc.

Active CNA license
Dementia Specialty Training
Mental Health Specialty Training
Nurse Delegation Cert
Diabetes Delegation Cert
CPR/First Aid
Food Handlers
WA State background check
Fingerprints
TB test

(These are the requirements to receive the highest pay, we still may consider you for the position at a lower rate if you do not meet all the criteria)
