Now that winter has settled in, here are a few cold-weather reminders worth keeping in mind:
• Check your heating vents & air filters-dusty airflow can trigger coughs and allergies this time of year.
• Keep a small “winter car kit” (water, snacks, charger, blanket)-PNW weather loves surprises.
• Run a humidifier at night-it helps with dry air, scratchy throats, and winter skin.
• Choose shoes with good traction-slips and falls go up this time of year, even on light frost.
