💙Corina at East Main Vision Clinic 💙
I started working at East Main Vision Clinic in January 2011 and have had the opportunity to serve in several roles over the years, including Clinical Technician, Contact Lens Specialist, and Human Resource Advocate. While I appreciate the behind-the-scenes responsibilities that come with these roles, my favorite part of the job has always been interacting directly with our patients. I truly enjoy caring for people and continuing to learn how the services and care we provide can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. One of the things I value most about working at East Main Vision Clinic is being part of such an incredible team. The people here have taught me so much about navigating life and have helped make me a more compassionate person. My passion for patient care is inspired by Dr. Day—he is my measuring stick. He is one of the most caring individuals I know, and I try to approach every patient interaction by asking myself, “What would Dr. Day do?”
In my role as Contact Lens Specialist, I work closely with Dr. Day to stay up to date on the latest contact lens technologies and options available from leading manufacturers. I enjoy helping patients find lenses that provide the best combination of vision, comfort, and convenience for their lifestyle. I have experience fitting multifocal contact lenses as well as myopia management lenses designed for children and teens. With Dr. Day’s guidance, we take a personalized approach to help patients choose the option that best supports their vision and long-term eye health. East Main Vision Clinic offers two contact lens options for myopia management, both designed to help slow the progression of nearsightedness in younger patients. Outside of work, I love history—especially sports history—and enjoy traveling and exploring new places. Being a mom is my favorite adventure, and my family is the reason behind everything I do. I also truly believe I exist because I have the most amazing mom on the planet. One quote that resonates with me is: “Results don’t come for free—change will always cost you something.”
