✨ MELT Massage Studio Turns 7! ✨
Seven years ago this month, MELT began as a tiny dream in a single cozy room. It was just me, a massage table, a handful of loyal clients, and two sweet kiddos running around at home. I didn’t know exactly where it would go, but I knew I wanted to create something that would bless both our family and this amazing community.
It didn’t take long for my schedule to fill up, and I quickly realized how truly special the people here are. This community believed in me, supported me, and reminded me how powerful healing touch can be.
Then came the challenges…the uncertainty of the COVID shutdowns, the leap of faith to sign a lease on a bigger space, and the hope of expanding not only MELT, but our family.
There were seasons that tested everything; my faith, my endurance and my heart. Our little family faced loss and heartbreak, but we kept going, trusting that God was still writing our story.
In 2021, MELT began to grow beyond me. I started building a team of incredible therapists who shared the same heart for healing and compassion that started this whole thing. Through it all, I’ve learned so much about business, balance, faith and resilience. And I’m still learning every single day (lifelong learner here 🙋♀️).
Starting a small business from the ground up has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done, second only to raising my (now) three kids and sharing life with my husband. My clients have become some of my most trusted inner circle, and the relationships built through this work have truly changed my life.
Today, MELT stands not just as a small business, but as a story of growth, grace and gratitude. God has carried us through every high and low, and I know none of this would exist without His guidance and the incredible people who have supported us along the way.
From that tiny one-room dream to the thriving studio we have today, my heart is overflowing with thankfulness. I don’t know exactly what the future holds, but if the past seven years are any sign, the best is yet to come! 🙏
