The DAD Projects

The DAD Projects The DAD Projects promotes the relationship between Fathers and infants/toddlers. What about YOUR father? Think of your earliest memory of your father.

If your father was a "good" father, what was it that made him good? If your father was NOT a "good" father, what did you miss? I would love to hear your story, if you're willing to share.

We are witnessing pregnant and postpartum parents living in fear. Avoiding hospitals, facing separation from their children, and enduring trauma during one of the most vulnerable periods of life. This directly impacts the families we serve, and our staff who support them, and it runs counter to everything we know about prevention, safety, and health in the perinatal period. Perinatal Support Washington stands with families and providers, and we believe it takes all of us speaking up to help create the world our families need and deserve.

Our office will be closed today, but the Warm Line never closes and is here to serve you. Please call or text 1-888-404-7763 if you are in need of emotional support.

We’re hiring a Data Analyst! 📊

The Stanford Center on Early Childhood is looking for a Data Analyst I to support the RAPID Survey Project, a national effort that uses data to better understand and support young children, caregivers, and the early childhood workforce.

In this role, you’ll work with large-scale survey data, contribute to real-time research, and help turn data into insights that inform policy, practice, and programs across the country.

No Sleep Training until after 6 months.....and then only if you need it! But work with a Sleep Consultant (eg, Macall with Little Livewires: Support for alert kiddos who never ever sleep)

And when fathers know about how to co-regulate with their baby, it helps to set up the baby's internal schedules and development of neuroception.

The importance of early relationships is central to the field of infant and early childhood mental health (IECMH), yet the role of fathers has too often been overlooked or relegated to the margins. This special issue seeks to reframe and elevate fatherhood by centering father’s voices, experiences...
