Meet Elizabeth Ruth, MACJ
-
Elizabeth is an intern therapist dedicated to creating a supportive, empowering, and inclusive space for every client. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Criminal Justice from DeSales University and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Widener University, where she is also earning a specialized certificate in treating trauma. Drawing from person-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, Elizabeth strives to help individuals recognize their worth, capabilities, and inherent strengths. Her therapeutic approach focuses on partnering with clients as they navigate obstacles, reframing challenges as meaningful stepping stones toward growth and fulfillment. She is passionate about working with people of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities, and welcomes clients across all populations. While open to supporting individuals with a wide array of concerns, she has particular interest in anxiety, depression, and obsessive–compulsive disorder. Above all, Elizabeth hopes to instill a renewed sense of hope—both in her clients and in the world around them. She is committed to walking alongside each person as they work toward healing, resilience, and a more fulfilling life. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, art, cooking, and knitting. She values balance, curiosity, and connection, and finds that the activities she loves outside of work help ground and inspire her in her therapeutic practice. https://www.sanctuaryintegrativecenterllc.com
