💚 Client’s Corner – April Feature: Kirby V. 💚
From the Client:
“I’ve been seeing Lex at Arrow Massage Therapy for almost two years now, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her! I have a chronic illness that causes a lot of joint pain, stiffness, and flare-ups, and working with Lex has made a huge difference in how I feel and function day to day. There have been so many times I’ve come in with a range of symptoms, but no matter whether I start out in intense pain, completely tight, or even just a little “off”, I always leave feeling significantly better—more mobile, less tense, and actually feeling like myself again. She’s been such an important part of managing my symptoms, and I can genuinely say my quality of life has improved because of her!
Every session is so personalized—Lex always takes the time to check in and really listen, then tailors everything to exactly what my body needs that day. Whether that’s deep pressure, myofascial release, lymphatic massage, trigger point work, stretching, or a mix of everything, she’s also great at working with (or around) my frequent injuries. She’s amazing with facial cupping, and I love that she’s constantly learning new techniques and bringing them into her sessions. You can tell she truly cares about helping her clients feel their best!
She’s also incredibly flexible and accommodating with scheduling, which makes such a difference when you’re dealing with a busy life and an unpredictable body. And beyond all of that, she’s just the best to be around—funny, easy to talk to, and genuinely kind. I always look forward to every appointment!
Lex is truly amazing, and I can’t recommend her enough—especially if you’re dealing with chronic pain or health challenges. She’s made such a meaningful impact on my health, and I’m so grateful to have found her.”

From Lex:
Kirby’s care is a great example of how individualized and collaborative this work can be. Alongside consistent bodywork, we’ve explored supportive modalities like acupuncture, and she’s considering working with a nutritionist—both referrals I suggest based on each client’s unique needs.
With her busy, active lifestyle, much of our focus has been on building awareness around her body’s limits, recovery, and patterns between sessions. She’s always been intuitive, but over time we’ve deepened that awareness—helping her better understand triggers and manage flare-ups more effectively.
Our sessions incorporate a blend of techniques, including myofascial work, targeted therapeutic massage, and facial cupping for jaw and neck tension, which has made a noticeable difference in her comfort and mobility. We’ve also discussed options like float therapy to further support relaxation and nervous system regulation.
She typically comes in every two weeks, which we’ve found works best for her, and there’s always a noticeable difference when that schedule gets off track.
This approach highlights how consistent, personalized care—along with the right supportive modalities—can help clients better manage discomfort, maintain mobility, and improve overall quality of life.
