Barb Layton is a NCCA Licensed Christian counselor. Barb has a Masters Degree and specializes in Temperament Therapy. She currently sees clients from her office by appointment only. Please call 215-313-8618. Temperament Therapy is based on understanding a person's temperament, which is different than personality. Understanding our temperament unlocks the reasons for how we think and respond to family, friends, life situations and even God. Temperament Therapy is invaluable for bringing new insights into the counseling sessions. Temperament Therapy begins by first completing the Arno Profile Survey, a 10 minute, 54-question assessment along with an introductory session about the counseling process. In the second session you will receive a customized Personal Temperament Profile, indicating individual strengths, weaknesses and temperament needs. We will explore your temperament and how it affects your personal relationships. We live in our strengths when our underlying temperament needs are understood and met. Temperament Therapy will help you understand yourself and how to best to respond to the people and situations that surround us.
