The TRICARE Open Season is officially here — running from November 10 through December 9, 2025.

Now’s your annual opportunity to enroll in a plan, switch your plan, or stay right where you are. Any changes you make will take effect on January 1, 2026.

Who must take action? If you’re enrolled in or eligible for TRICARE Prime, Prime Remote, or Select you should review your options.

Important: If you’re active duty or have TRICARE For Life, you’re not required to make changes during Open Season.

What should you do now?

• Visit your regional TRICARE website or call your contractor to review plan options.
• Make sure your family’s info is up to date in DEERS.
• Decide whether to keep your current plan, switch, or enroll in a new one by December 9.

Don’t miss your chance to get the coverage that best fits you and your family in 2026. If you miss this window, you’ll generally wait until next year unless you experience a qualifying life event.

As part of our planned facility improvements, the temporary pharmacy trailer at NHC Quantico will permanently close on October 31, at 4 p.m. Pharmacy services will soon resume at the main clinic pharmacy, which has been newly renovated to provide you with a better, more efficient experience.

During the brief transition, please follow the instructions on the flyer to get your prescriptions filled or go to TRICARE.mil/pharmacy to find a pharmacy near you.

What you need to know:

• The trailer closes: 4 p.m. October 31.
• We will send another message once the NHC Quantico main pharmacy opens.
• Ask staff or call 703-784-1725 if you need help during the transition.

This move is part of our scheduled pharmacy renovation plans. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you in our updated space.

The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

We will be hosting our flu shotex at offsite locations this year due to our clinic still undergoing repairs.

All the shotexs dates will be open clinic staff, active duty, and beneficiaries.

The shotex dates, times, and locations are as follows:
